Smita Patel graduated from Massachusetts College of Pharmacy in Boston in 1996, launching a career that has taken her through nearly three decades of diverse and meaningful work in pharmacy. Her experience spans experience in retail, oncology, pharmaceutical distribution, acute care, and psychiatric pharmacy. She's had the privilege of leading pharmacy services as Director of Pharmacy at two psychiatric hospitals, and holds a certification in psychiatric pharmacy. Mental health care has been a deeply meaningful focus for Smita, and she's always been drawn to areas where empathy and clinical expertise make the greatest impact.

Today, she continues that mission at St. Hope Pharmacy, where she is expanding her focus to support individuals living with HIV and other complex conditions. Pharmacy has never been just a profession for Smita – It’s a calling. She's passionate about caring for the whole person and committed to making a difference in the lives of those who need it most.
